Compass Box Studio has one of the largest live tracking rooms, we can record an intimate duo setup, to a full-blown live session with individual monitoring. Our live room is designed to track bands live, with an iso booth large enough to fit a drum kit in as well so you can record upto a 12 piece band live!
Artist get everything they need and more in order to create, explore and enhance their sound. With a large inventory of microphones, instruments and some of the best outboard gear in the world, recording any acoustic source is what we do best. With ATCs as our main far-fields, a fully Neumann-powered 7.1.4 Atmos room and analogue outboard EQs and compressors; all your post-production needs are taken care of, from mixing, analogue mastering to spatial audio/Dolby Atmos, Compass Box Studio is a one stop shop for everything.

Control Room
Designed from the ground up for critical listening, the space is acoustically symmetrical, allowing for the best possible translation of sound, regardless of where you sit. As one of the largest control rooms in the country, it can comfortably accommodate a full team of 8-10 people, be it a band or a film project crew, to sit and listen to the final mix or check on the recording. Equipped with the ATC SCM100ASL PROs for the main far-fields and a fully Dolby-compliant 7.1.4 Atmos HE setup, courtesy of our partnership with Neumann, the control room is perfect for mixing, analog mastering, and Atmos mixes for film and music.

Live Room
Affectionately known as 'The Box,' it stands out as one of the larger live rooms in most modern studios, designed with music and tracking in mind. The space exudes a unique character and a sense of 'liveness' that enhances the quality of drums, electric guitars, and most horns. Seeking an intimate closed-dry sound? Our iso booth is tailored for ADR/dubbing and vocal recording, although it's quite common to record vocals in the larger space. Both the iso booth and the larger room complement each other, facilitating the best-sounding live recordings. This is demonstrated by our Live Sessions on YouTube, where up to 10 musicians record live with minimal bleed and individual monitoring. Please contact us for certain instruments.
