The Tapi Project's music is woven like fabric, organically grown on poetries. Centered around powerful vocals, the lyrics are coming alive, swallowing us in an ocean of emotions, singing stories about rivers, cramped-up life, lost values, and in essence, the universal search for the self.

"Khuda Ne mere" was written by the Late Dr. Rahat Indori, whose depiction of a dejected warrior, inspired us to do this modern take on a ghazal-formed poetry. The song has constantly shifting time signatures, a progressive ever evolving melody, and modern arrangements!

Tshering Bhutia is an indie/folk singer-songwriter from Ahmedabad. She released her debut single ‘Grocery Shop’ in January, 2021. Later that year, she featured in the alternative rock single ‘Get Up’ by the band Crisscross. Her musical influences include Dodie and Clairo. Singing in choirs and studying the classical guitar has also influenced her style of writing.
