Music Production Program
Our Music Production Program is for aspiring music creators looking to build a strong understanding of music production fundamentals. It introduces learners to key concepts in music and sound theory, digital audio, and the operation of digital audio workstations (DAWs). Participants will work directly with professional production tools such as Logic Pro X and Avid Pro Tools, and develop core abilities in songwriting, arranging, mixing, and using virtual instruments.

Pre-Requisites
- Minimum eligibility is a 12th passing certificate (or equivalent)
- Basic vocational proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred
- Students may be required to bring their own laptop and headphones to class
- Optional: MIDI Keyboard, audio interface, microphones
Program Objective
Build a strong foundation in creating music from scratch. This program covers music theory, songwriting, beatmaking, arrangement, sound design, and the use of industry-standard DAWs (Logic Pro X, Pro Tools) to produce, arrange, and mix your own professional-quality tracks.

The Music Production Program is a 6-month course that aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to write, compose, mix and master a song from scratch.
In order to be eligible to apply for the Audio Engineering Institute at Compass Box Studio, participants must have:
1. 12th passing certificate or (equivalent education certificates)
2. Basic vocational proficiency in English and Hindi preferred
The fee structure for the Music Production Program is ₹1,30,000.
Fee payments for all the Compass Box Academy programs can be made through NEFT, IMPS, Card, UPI and cheque.
Students may use DAW of their preference but note that Logic Pro and ProTools are the main DAWs of choice at Compass Box Academy.
CBA students will have full access at Compass Box Studio which has
1. A Control Room which includes a Dolby-compliant 7.1.4 Atmos HE setup
2. A professionally treated Live Room with an iso-booth
3. Industry standard microphones, mic pres, and outboard gear
